@font-face closer than you think

According to this article, the @font-face property is closer than you might suspect. Although CSS3 will probably not be fully supported for a while (by ‘all’ browsers that is, and that’s just my opinion) some of it’s features can already be used. One of these is the mentioned @font-face.

If the results are correct, only chrome lacks support for it, but “Google has promised that the next version of Chrome will add native support for web fonts”.  The latest beta still doesn’t deliver this feature and I’m not sure when version 4 will be released, but based on previous releases, I’d expect it soon.

There will probably be some other issues associated with @font-face usage and copyright is the one I’m least worried about, but hey, it’s worth a shot.
